Pavement sealer will replenish the binder in the asphalt road that is lost over time through oxidation.  This will extend the life of the road and delay future repairs and replacement. Asphalt sealing will also beautify your pavement, as well as continue to repel moisture, oil, and other contaminants harmful to asphalt. The City of Lakewood has tested and specified the use of PMM (Polymer Modified Masterseal). PMM is a high-performance sealcoat blended with polymers and special surfactants designed for sealcoating, protecting and beautifying all types of asphalt. PMM will provide a rubberized surface with added flexibility and adhesion.
